Hey, thanks for the 6 thoughts! These are my thoughts on your thoughts:

(1) Yes, I am. Due to the nature of my work, all my workstations (desktops and laptops) are always being pushed to its limits. I chose Macbook Air for its "additional" portability.

(2) I can understand the logic of this point but the failure shouldn't be due to the heat management. All Macbook processor has temperature sensor for heat management. If it's very hot, then the CPU throttles. However, it can't be "too hot" because the CPU will throttle (slow down its clock speed although it's loaded with heavy tasks) to protect itself.

(3) Yes, more RAM is the way to go.

(4) Actually, I do. I have been using the Samsung T5 and T7 SSD for video projects that doesn't require a lot of traveling. For the data that I lost, those were the projects that I need to travel often (that's why I chose to rely on internal drive, yea for convenience).

(5) Yes, I couldn't agree more on this.

(6) I guess you are right;)

Thanks for reading the other article as well. I'm still collecting data and let's see if there are any "discoveries".
